Dear Hippies,
It’s time I let you in on a little secret: You don’t have to smell like patchouli. Or sage. There are other options now, products that range from shampoos to deodorants and smell just lovely. I know, because I use these products. And at ExpoWest last weekend, I discovered a scent so wonderful that I thought you should know about it, for everybody’s sake.
Aubrey Organics is a company that makes a lot of great, clean products, and now they make perfume, too. No, it’s true! I’ve tried it. They make six different scents, but since I haven’t tried them all I’m just going to tell you about the Spring Floral eau de parfum. (For those of you who don’t speak French, that’s “ode to perfume”. Or something).
This perfume is just divine. It’s flowery and a little sweet, but not too sweet. It’s kind of like rolling around in a flower patch, which should totally appeal to you flower-child types. I normally hate perfume and refuse to wear it, but this one is just so fantastic that I might just make it my signature scent. It’s cool with me if you want to do that, too.
The best part about this perfume is the ingredient list, which includes natural grain alcohol and several botanicals, AND NOTHING ELSE. How great is that? These botanicals are things like rose, bergamot, pink grapefruit, and geranium. It smells divine, and there isn’t a drop of sage in the entire bottle!
As for your dreadlocks, I’m afraid you’ll have to figure that one out on your own.
Toodles,
Kerry
