When I feel sick, a natural cure works best for my body in most cases. Several years ago I discovered Traditional Medicinals tea, and they’ve been a staple in my pantry ever since. In particular, Organic Ginger tea is my remedy of choice for an upset stomach. Whether it be indigestion, motion sickness, nausea, or worse, you name it, ginger tea heals. I brew it at home and bring tea bags & a travel mug along on road trips. A bumpy, winding road or a questionable dish might require digestive aid!

Traditional Medicinals uses the highest quality ginger in their tea: it’s organic as well as a pharmacopoeial-grade herb. A recommended brewing process is printed right on the box that guarantees a cup full of beneficial ingredients to truly restore the digestive system. Pour boiling water over a tea bag in a cup, cover the cup, and steep for 10-15 minutes. Voilá, a steaming mug of medicine! However, I love spices, so ginger tea is not a painful remedy - it tastes wonderful. I honestly feel it working as I swallow my first few sips.

In addition to providing a natural cure that actually works and tastes good, Traditional Medicinals is a sincere sustainable company:

As I waited impatiently on my covered mug of ginger tea one night, I picked up the box to read each side. I flipped it over and read on the bottom, “We strongly encourage recycling” in capital letters with instructions to unfold the tea box and place it in my recycling bin. Not just “please recycle”, but a serious plea! I love that type of passion in a company I choose to support. So, here’s a short but sweet review of a delicious tea that never fails to soothe my stomach, sustainable all the while. The next time you feel pukey, shun that vile pink liquid and grab organic ginger tea.

I don’t like ginger tea, BUT I do love Traditional Medicinals Cranberry Weighless! Yum! Thanks for this post, Jenni!
