Tuesday’s Tip: Spray Bottle Full of Vinegar

Keep white vinegar in a spray bottle in your cleaning supplies cabinet. You can use it to clean your kitchen countertops, it does a great job of cutting through grease without involving any chemicals. Spray it on your counters and leave it for a minute, then wipe away.

White vinegar is also good for freshening the air in any room; turn the spray nozzle so it makes a very fine mist, and spray some vinegar into the air. Just make sure vinegar droplets don’t get onto any surface that they could damage; I carry a cloth to wipe leather furniture and wood surfaces if they get too wet.

My love of white vinegar for home use is well-documented; let me know if you know of any other uses for this wonder-liquid.

The spray bottle is a great idea!

We used to find vinegar a great way to clean up after our rabbit. Not that she caused much mess.

I recently used it to clean my wood floors, and it was wonderful! Fill a whole spray bottle with water, then add some vinegar and a couple tablespoons of orange oil.

I use white vinegar & water in a spray bottle to clean our mirrors.

Christine – do you think your concoction would work on bamboo floors?
