I am very passionate about a nasal inhaler. Yes, you read that correctly. The Olbas inhaler is quite possibly my favorite natural product. My passion flows from the fact that I’ve battled allergies most of my life, so a stuffy nose is a common ailment of mine. Likewise, my sinuses are prone to flare up for no apparent reason, and I loathe nasal congestion. Um, breathing through my my mouth while sleeping and talking funny - no thank you.
I once used addictive nasal sprays, but then I found the Olbas inhaler and I’ve kept one by my side ever since. It does not contain any decongestants, yet the simple ingredients of menthol, peppermint oil, cajeput oil, and eucalyptol oil work like a charm. You inhale 1-2 times in each nostril as often as necessary. It is non-addictive and also recommended for colds, hay fever, low humidity, and other nasal irritations. I even got my husband hooked on Olbas nasal inhalers - we each keep one in our bedside drawers. I sent one to a friend who is also allergy-prone. I’m on an Olbas crusade of sorts.
I’d recommend replacing Olbas inhalers every 3 months to keep them potent and working their best. Each inhaler is only $2-3.00 so they shouldn’t break your bank. Oh, and while we’re on the topic of genius items from Switzerland, have you read Heidi by Johanna Spyri? It was my favorite childhood book. If Klara had used an Olbas inhaler in addition to that fresh mountain air, she might have healed even sooner. I’m just saying.

I love Olbas. My grandparents used to give it to us when we were young. It works so well!

My sweetheart and I both suffer from various allergy problems. We will have to track down this Olbas product and give it a try. Also, does anyone have feedback on a company called Sinus Wars? I stumbled upon their website (sinuswars.com) and they claim to be 100% natural - could be a good product.
