Tuesday’s Tip: Keep Rescue Remedy Near Your Bed

On Sunday night I almost took my left thumbnail off. It wasn’t on purpose, of course, it was one of those freak things that hurt like hell and I can’t even remember how it happened. Somehow I caught my thumbnail on a chair in our dining room, and the next thing I knew the nail was halfway separated from the underlying nail bed. It hurt, but the weirder thing was how it affected my nerves. The pain turned to a searing heat, and then my hand began cramping uncontrollably. A Band-Aid and some ice made it better, but the shot to my nerves lasted a while longer.

Before bed, I was still feeling a bit off, so I grabbed the bottle of Bach’s Rescue Remedy from my nightstand and took an eyedropper full. This totally did the trick; I was feeling more peaceful just minutes later, and I drifted off to sleep in peace. Rescue Remedy is something I always rely on, as does Jenni, for just those occasions. Keeping a bottle by your bed is helpful in so many situations. I haven’t yet tried Rescue Remedy Sleep, though it seems like the obvious choice for bedside stress relief, so I’ll have to give it a shot.

I need to try the sleep remedy. Sounds like it’s much better than the ones the doctor gives out.
