ExpoWest 2008 is Fast Approaching

It’s that time of year again: in a couple of weeks, I’ll be attending ExpoWest. This will be my third year attending the show, the second in association with this website. Last year proved to be incredibly fruitful; those three days (and nights) of the show provided me with an unbelievable amount of material, not to mention the acquaintances I made that introduced me to great products and companies throughout this past year.

This show is an industry show, the largest of its kind for the natural products sector. Consumers, corporate buyers, media, executives, retailers, and exhibitors from huge corporations to small-scale manufacturers all attend this giant event. Everyone walks up and down the huge aisles full of ambitious exhibitors, pursuing whatever it is they’ve come to find. I go to find answers, and Expo answers many of them for me: how can I get my hands on an ingredient list for a certain product? Which new products are scheduled for release in the coming year? Which are already out? Is a particular company as sheisty as I think they are, or do they have an excuse? (Speaking of sheist, I’m coming for you, MetroMint. This is my year.)

Since the show is coming up, I figured I’d ask you guys if you have any questions of your own that you’d like answered. I may not be able to find answers to all of your inquiries, but I would like to see what you all are concerned about. What’s on your mind? What are you looking for this year?
